About Me

Hi there! Thanks for dropping by. My name is Rachel and I am a 21 year old originally from the northern (and I mean basically on the border of Wisconsin) suburbs of Chicago, IL. I am a junior at a private, liberal arts college in Wisconsin, however my family lives in the South Shore of Boston, MA.

At school I study chemistry and biology and am currently preparing for the PCAT (Pharmacy College Admission Test). I work at a local pharmacy, as well as at two on-campus jobs. Lastly, I am a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. As you can see I am pretty busy, but I wouldn’t want my life to be any other way!

While I love studying science, working, and spending time with my sorority sisters, I am very passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. It wasn’t until I began college in 2015 that I really got into working out, eating well, and taking care of my body. In high school I was a dancer so I didn’t have to make as conscious of an effort to stay fit because of the many practices and performances. Once I was living on my own, I realized that investing in my own health would take time and work, however it was something I was determined to do.

In my opinion, we college students have it pretty hard. There are many factors that add up to a positive college experience such as earning good grades, working, maintaining a social life, exercising, sleeping, networking, feeding ourselves, creating a post-graduate game plan, putting our clothes on right-side-out… the list is endless! After two years of under-grad, I feel as I have a (somewhat) good grasp on how to balance the priorities of a college student. My goal for this blog is to share my successes and failures with whoever needs them (or needs a source of procrastination, your pick).

I have been interested in social media for a while now, but my main outlets were only my Instagram and Twitter accounts. I am excited to share my thoughts, adventures, workouts, recipes, and more on a new platform and I cannot wait to see where this blog takes me.

xx, Rachel
